The assistance program will provide grants to homeowners for repairs related directly to the storm on July 14, 2020.  The funds can be used to repair or replace furnaces, water heaters, pressure tanks for wells, damaged flooring, wall covering, sheetrock and insulation, ceiling materials, remediation of mold, and to repair basement exterior walls or foundations, and other eligible repairs. Funds cannot be used for cleaning or cosmetic repairs.

Funds can be used to reimburse a household for repairs that have already been completed if they can demonstrate the damage was caused by the July 14, 2020 event, and they have receipts.

Households who believe they might be eligible for assistance should contact Colleen at Eau Claire County Housing Authority at 715-839-6240.  The information can be taken over the phone and would not obligate the caller to participation.
